max_history_samples: usizeMaximum number of samples to retain in history.

enable_histograms: boolWhether to enable latency histograms.
drop_rate_alert_threshold: f64Alert threshold for message drop rate (0.0-1.0).
latency_alert_threshold_us: u64Alert threshold for average latency in microseconds.
