Metal backend (production in v0.3.0-rc1, completed November 2025) provides:

Current Status
Production Ready (November 2025): The Metal backend is production-ready with comprehensive features:

- ✅ Unified memory with zero-copy CPU-GPU access
- ✅ All 176 test compilation errors fixed, tests passing
Metal Shading Language documentation is being expanded. Core implementation is complete.
